This painting was started one quiet Sunday afternoon. It is not taken from any landscape I know as it was done from my imagination.

A quiet forest scene, where the world pauses as a new day breaks with a sunrise that filters of distant hills. As wild flowers open their petals to greet another day.

This was my work in progress that I had added to my home page. It took me six hours to complete over three days.

The focus on this painting was very much on the atmosphere, the light and how the colours reflect this.
